In Vinci village located on the Danube river bank, 7km to the north from Golubac there are unexplored Roman fort remains, thus there are scarce data about it. According to the position it is clear that it represented a part of a military objects system Roman Danube border – limes. The Danube river bank was formed in this zone by sand drifts and it is elevated 4 to 5m, thus the cut off sections partially show parts of stone ramparts and cultural layers which witness the duration of active living in this military point. By the terrain configuration it is assumed that it had a rectangular base and towers on the corners. One part of the fort was destroyed by profile sliding towards the Danube.
