The Church – goers House in Ćovdin village was built at the end of XIX or beginning of XX century in the area of a former village center, on the road towards Busur.
The Church – goers House is a kind of eaves with benches and a table in the middle. It is of half – timbered construction with pillars and strut beams without composite; the roof is four – sloped and covered with tile. The building served for luncheons for one or more families in the days of village feasts or some other great religious holiday celebrated by all village locals or the village church. Such object was built by one family if it was a wealthy one and had a numerous family or if there were more families together. The building dimensions are: length 9.75m, width 2.80m, total height 3.30m.
