The house in No. 2 Ante Protića Street, Smederevo was built in the early decades of XIX century as a town house with a rich base of 11,40х8,30m dimensions, with a porch and a mounted veranda; underneath it there is an entrance into a cellar beneath one part of the object. It was built on the broken stone base in half-timbered construction with adobe composite, covered with tiles..
In its base, the house has a central room called “house” surrounded by two other rooms on each side of it. Initially, the entire longer side of the house had a porch ending with a mounted and extended veranda; later a part of it and then the entire porch was walled up.
It is uncertain who built the house, but according to the building style, materials used for building and the position of the house in the very heart of the old town, it is assumed that it was a rich merchant who built it.
The house was disassembled in 2005 and made ready for relocation of an ethno park in project.
